Matt O'Connell is one heck of an athlete and the Pirates will have their hands full as they try to scheme and dream of stopping this guy. He has killed the Pirates (and the rest of the conference) in the past. The best news for the Large Lakeland? He's a senior.

He is nominated for this week's player of the week at WisSports. Here's what they wrote about the guy:

Matt O'Connell, Clear Lake – Clear Lake quarterback Matt O'Connell has been outstanding all season, and continued that strong play Friday night against Flambeau. The senior signal-caller did a little bit of everything as the Warriors won 57-13. He completed 8 of 18 passes for 151 yards, ran the ball 16 times for 193 yards and 6 touchdowns, and also caught a 19-yard touchdown. The win keeps Clear Lake undefeated on the season and on top of the Lakeland-Large Conference.

Aw, this was a really nice post. In idea I want to put in writing like this moreover – taking time and actual effort to make an excellent article… however what can I say… I procrastinate alot and on no account seem to get one thing done.
