The more things change…

…the more they stay the same. Grantsburg will face off against the Washburn Castle Guards next Thursday evening to decide who moves on to the Sectional title game. These two teams have faced off often and it will be Grantsburg’s biggest test of the post-season as the Pirates were able to beat St. Croix Central tonight in straight sets. That’s not to say tonight was easy, and actually compared to the opening games, Grantsburg had to go to work. But, in the end Grantsburg did what Grantsburg does and put up three wide-margin set victories (25-13, 25-16, 24-8). I’ll post throughout the week regarding the upcoming game with Washburn… there’s a lot to cover. Thanks to everyone who listened tonight on the radio.
