First… congratulations to the Siren girls for a tremendous season and we wish Janey Emery and the rest of the senior class well as they have played their last game for the Dragons. Siren has a young team and could make another run or two in the next couple years.

The team was met by another very good team in Madison and though Siren was able to hang tough for three quarters they weren’t able to make any headway into the 13-0 first quarter they allowed St. Mary Central to get.

The final score was 49-34.

Here is a link to the live blog that WisSports was updating during the game. He mentions a couple things that I also mentioned during the broadcast. The first being the constant imploring of the Siren fans to take three pointers by girls who aren’t usually the ones to take them. At times the crowd seemed downright angry that the girls weren’t launching threes. The second is the cow bell guy from Siren… I’d really like to shake that guy’s hand because he ROCKS that cow bell.

Here is a link to that stats from the game.
