Not to get ahead of ourselves here, but…

Let’s take a quick look at the regional groupings for boys basketball in the Somerset sub-section (you can look at the bracket here). (Teams in BOLD signify a .500+ winning percentage)

The teams in the Amery Region:

If you look at the records of the teams listed it is clear to see that if Grantsburg plays the way they are capable of they should breeze through to sectionals. Of course everyone remembers what happened against Webster a couple weeks ago. My guess is that the Webster game will serve as a gigantic wake up call for the boys and they will be bringing their best come playoff time. 

Total Record of Luck’s region: 87-52 (.626 winning percentage)

Total Record of G-burg’s region: 57-81 (.413 winning percentage)

That is a huge discrepancy and Grantsburg needs to take advantage of the luck of the draw this year
